Kate's new phrases:
- Hockey - Go Go...Hockey
- Mommy "go go"
- Outside
- Poopy Rua (Pica, Kate, etc..)
- Dora backpack
- Go Go Nana/Papa
To name a few...she is still a chatterbox. I think the only time she isn't chatting is when she is sleeping or new to a situation. REALLY! Kate has really increased her vocabulary in the last few weeks. All kinds of new words are just flowing...especially cookie!
We are still playing lots of Play-Doe, babies, and "kitchen." This week we were able to be outside a few afternoons. It was so nice and Kate loved it. She was upset each time when we had to come in. She is busy outside playing with all her toys and loving the sidewalk chalk..thank goodness I got a huge thing of it on clearance last summer! We have also been out with the dogs for walks...and Kate walks too these days, instead of the stroller.
Wednesday was a mommy day as Corey was at work and daycare was closed. We had a great day. A little shopping in the morning and playing outside in the afternoon. I loved it!
Yesterday we were up at the Stroh boys hockey games. It was fun to watch them play. Attached are a few pics and videos. Kate likes it to, but must admit I think her favorite part is hanging out with Molly! We got to see the kids Friday night for a bit too. Kate was all about dress-up! She loved playing that with Molly...and digs right into that stuff every time she is over at her house.
Well Nana (Kate calls Grandma Phyllie) is home from Japan so we must get up to see her soon. Maybe next weekend. Kate got to go to the airport with Papa and Stacy to get her last Monday. She loved it ... did a little dance from Nana and ran right to her!
As you can see from the pics we did a little cookie baking this morning. Kate really thought it was fun and even got to eat some cookie dough!
