Saturday morning with the Jones boys Spring is here!!!
Well it sure felt like it this weekend. What a wonderful couple days. Kate and I went up to the lake for the weekend. Saturday I was outside with the Jones and Stroh kids all afternoon. We made awesome snow forts and had a fun war (including a snow ball fight). When Kate got up from her nap she REALLY wanted to come outside! She loved it. We built a snowman, she watched the boys run around being crazy, and helped Molly in her snow cave. It was just so warm out and the snow was perfect for playing!
Today we headed back after lunch. When we got home, Kate had a little snack and then it was back outside again. She played on the deck for about an hour then we were out to the front yard. We brought the dogs for a walk again. Kate does pretty good doing the walk herself. She is into looking at the drains...watching the water run down into them.
Kate is pretty good now at putting 2 words together. The latest is ... we are teaching her to say "almost 2" and hold up 2 fingers. But right now she says two and holds up all her fingers (just has them held tight together!) Funny funny!
Break out the sunscreen :)
