The Days of Kate & Jennifer

Today was the big day. Kate had her surgery for ear tubes. She was up at 6 and ready to go! Well it wasn't actually a super fun morning because the poor little thing couldn't have anything to eat or drink (water until 6:15). We arrived at the hospital and it was smooth sailing. She was under for probably 30 mins max. The surgery went just fine and the doc said she had lots of fluid and infection in her ears. Guessing she may be hearing lots of new things today! She was definitely ready for bed tonight. She came out of her anesthesia just great. She was alert, happy, drinking water and eating saltines fairly quickly. Just happy the procedure is over!!! Hope we have a good night.
