Knowing what she wants

That's right - Kate is really sharing her personality in full force! When she is ready to eat she walks over to her high chair and grunts. It is so funny. She also thinks she is a character - she has multiple pairs of glasses/sunglasses. She loves wearing them and makes sure we put them on her. She just loves to take them on/off and laugh.

Tonight we were outside for a wagon ride and then played in the grass. She is doing much better now with the grass. Before she really didn't like the feel of it and if you set her on the grass she would pout and want to be picked up. She also loves to drive her "car" and do bubbles (which Rua loves even more!)

For Mothers Day we were at the lake. Sunday was super - we went out for an AWESOME lunch with my parents and then really just hung out the rest of the day. My parents watched Kate Sat night so we could go out to dinner. It was great. We were suppose to golf that day, but of course it rained and was like 30...well it felt that way. Luckily in the morning we got to see my nephews play soccer before it started raining too hard.
Kate had her one year old check-up last week. She is 29 inches and 18.5 lbs. Kinda a mite in
wight, but the doc wasn't concerned as she is a walking machine! Unfortunately we did get some bad news. Her ear infection from a few weeks ago was still there. Now she has had 7 ear infections. Not good. So, the doc recommended getting tubes put in. We go talk to the pediatrician ENT next week. I know it is a routine process, but is scares the crap out of me.
You can see that I have added a counter to the website - for the Q's arrival. Can you tell we are a little bit excited!!!!!! I am very proud of their Japanese skills so I will post a video of them singing Happy Birthday to me in Japanese. Love it!!!
Think that is about it for now.
Later gators.

Being silly with my glasses - sorry for the dark pic - camera battery was almost dead!

My new wagon - that I will play in for a LONG time!

Daddy letting me drive (notice the golf marker on Corey's hat)
