All kinds of big girl things!
Since our last post it seems Kate has really grown up! She is officially potty trained (except she still wears a diaper at night) and has moved into a big girl bed! It seems way to fast!
A couple weekends ago we painted her room. She wanted pink of course. Every time I asked her or suggested a different color, she came back to pink. So we went with PINK! She also got to pick out her sheets...princesses of course. She is doing pretty good. So far we are one for three for her sleeping through the night. The nights she wakes up she comes into our room "Mommy...I can't find blankie...or gaggie." It is so dang cute! I know I say that now (even at 1:30 in the morning), but she will get used to it and we will be good to go. Just an adjustment. We wanted her to feel like she was a big girl getting to sleep in her new room, before the baby arrives and takes over the crib. I think it is harder for me to have her sleep in the room! She is just so little still!!!
Onto potty training. It went very good. She did a great job with only a few accidents (one was 100% my fault.) Lesson learned, when your 2 year old says they have to go potty they aren't joking!
We have been hanging out the last few weekends. It has been cold and rainy. I should say that we have done plenty of shopping. Corey was gone for a weekend golfing so my mom came down to help me look for curtains for Kate's room. We had a really nice weekend. The picture of Kate cooking is from that weekend. She LOVES to cook! She usually butters her waffle in the morning and at night has started to "help" with dinner.
We are trying to get her used to the "Big Sister" idea. We have bought some books and talk about it quite a bit. We are down to approx 8 weeks, so things are getting closer!
Off to the circus this weekend and hoping the weather will hold out so we can go to the pumpkin patch!

Fun pictures. She will be ready for that baby to come, probably will even want her/him to sleep with her. That is a busy little girl you two have!
