A sub-zero week

Man alive...

This past week was the coldest I can remember. Waking up to -25 below (without windchill) is simply nuts! Luckily Kate gets into a warm car and only has about 15 seconds she is outside!

Kate got to stay at the Strohs last night. She was kinda cranky on Friday afternoon, but when the Strohs arrived to pick her up...entirely different kid! She was just excited! She runs and throws herself on the floor .. showing off! It is pretty funny. She gets so excited she doesn't quite know what to do with herself. This morning when we picked her up she was playing hockey with the boys. She gave hugs and kisses to all...and uncle Jeff got a few extras!

She must of had a blast because she took a 3 hour nap today! Friday night is party night at the Strohs!

Kate continues to amaze us everyday...just the things she does. A few items:
* Playing inside her toy box
* She has a bunch of fake food and can identify most of them.
* Chasing Rua around and wanting her to play
* Playing in her room upstairs by herself
* Getting out the Dora potty seat (little one that sets inside the toilet) and pretending to go potty
* Saying Dora, cow, cat, puppy and doing the sounds!

Fun fun fun...
