Christmas 2008

Merry Christmas!!!

We spent 5 days at the lake! The Strohs and Jones' each dropped in for a few days, but we also got some alone time with grams and papa...which you all know I like :) Christmas Eve it was just us and my parents. After church we came home had some dinner and opened presents. Kate got an AWESOME gift ... grams and papa made her a kitchen. She loved it! Played, played, played with it all weekend! They bought her some dishes and pots/pans to go with it. She also got right into opening gifts. She did a good job unwrapping presents....not just her own. We all got great gifts and can't wait to use them...oh wait, I already am!

Christmas day my brother and his family came over. We hung out, had a nice Christmas dinner and the kids played. On Friday, Kate ventured to shop the sales with me and grams :) Saturday we were all together, except the Q's....they are in Hawaii for 15 or so days!!! We skyped with them many times and it was so good to see them. The day was topped off by some good food and playing outside. We did some major sledding that I will need to get pics from my dad...The kids would hot a jump and land on the lake! Fun! I did it a few times and man...does my back hurt today! Kate took a little bit less scary ride. Her and her cousin Molly went up and down a hill aobut 30 times. After each ride Kate would say/sign "More, please." We were out for about 90 minutes!

Today we came back in the morning and had Christmas with Corey's family. It was very nice and relaxing. Again, we scored some amazing gifts...THANKS, THANKS, THANKS! We also got a chance to go sledding again. Kate just loves it!

Thanks to all for making this a wonderful Christmas.

Love to all.

The start of the ......swing. Kate loved this.... "More papa, more papa!"

Aloha, that is a fabulous gift for kate, love the kitchen. I can't wait to play with her, I assume you've been busy cooking on it :) BTW, we're here in Hawaii for 15 days, not 25...but that would be nice too. Glad that you had a nice Christmas with all of the Jones, Stroh and Christiansen families. Stay warm!

Love the Q's
