Grandma O'Donnell
1919 - 2008
Long time since the last post...
Last Saturday night my Grandma (Kate's great grams) passed away. She was 89 and lived a great life. It has been a crazy busy since that night. Monday was getting ready to head to Graceville and Tuesday I picked up Louie wh flew in from Japan. Stacy, Steph and I headed up to the prayer service and the guys came up after school with the kids. Wednesday was the funeral. It was sad of course, but ALL byut 2 of my cousins (there are 21 of us) came back. There are 31 great grandkids and 7 great-great grandkids. CRAZY! Lots of amazing-great memories of grandma. We came back late of Wed night and then Thurs brought Steph back to the airport. She was home for 2 nights!!! Friday my mom and cousins from Arkansas came to our house. They left this afternoon and my mom went home today. She has been gone a full week and was ready to get home and relax. That is what I mean by a BUSY LONG week.
During the prayer service and funeral Kate hung out with Daddy outside. Thank goodness for the wonderful weather!!!
It was hard to lose grandma, but I know she is in a better place.
Kate Update:
Kate did great on the drives to/from Graceville. She is now into playing with stickers too. Fun :)
She is really starting to do more words. She says "Thank you" and "Please." Very cute! Today she said her name and also Grandma!!! Wosers!!! It is so stinkin cute. We went for a family bike ride tonight and then down to the park. As is it so nice we wanted to be outside as much as possible.

Hope everyone has a great week.

Sorry to hear your news hun :( Hope you're doing well and we'll see you soon. x
SO sorry to hear about your Grandma. It is so hard, even if a person lives for 89 years, to lose a grandparent. Hopefully you can find peace by remembering all of the awesome memories you have of her. I'm thinking of you, Jeanne!
