The Days of Kate & Jennifer

Tonight Kate ate her first full meal of "real" food. She had carrots, peas, cheese and some puff things. She loves trying to feed herself and really does pretty good. Tomorrow for breakfast we will try "real" oatmeal! Yum! Not sure if I said, but she also has two teeth on the bottom now. Growing bigger each day. She is weighing in about 17.5 lbs. and 29 inches. Currently she has a pretty nasty diaper rash from her antibiotics - when she had back to back ear infections. We are also giving her soaking baths (she loves her bath) with some Aveno Oatmeal Bath - the dt. said it would help.

Today we had a fun day. We got up and cleaned. This house is much more to clean! After that, Kate was up from her morning nap and we headed out. Really just hit a few shops and Target (of course). We stopped for lunch at Quiznos. Love their salads! Kate was having fun smiling at the guy and his son at the table next to us. And lovely me...as I was trying to pick up something Kate dropped my chair slid out and I ended up on the floor! Funny - but is was oh so slow motion. Tonight we went out for Mexican at the local restaurant. It is always so good. Can't wait to take the Quinnilds there this summer. Kate had her first taste of a quesadilla. SHE LOVED IT!!!

New Years was fun as my mom/dad and sister and her family came over. Kate didn't want to miss any of the party and thus had a hard time going to bed that night.

No new pics as our camera's battery is dead and we are in the process of getting a new camera anyway.
