The Days of Kate & Jennifer

Almost 2 months since I posted...I am getting really bad at this!!!

Jenn is 7 months today! Wow! She is getting so big. A few milestones:
* She has been sitting independently for about a month.
* She is eating 3 square meals a day along with her 5 bottles!
* Rolling over - oh yes. Both ways for a couple weeks now!
* Sleeping is alright. About 9 - 5/6, but wakes up to get her pacifier.
* At her 6 month appt she was 16 lbs. And 90% for height...think she gets that from Stacy :)
* She loves to play with her toys.

She is a very happy baby! Smiles all the time! But she will let you know when she is mad!!! Grunting and mad...oh yes!

Kate update:
* She had her 3rd bday party at Pump It Up She LOVED it! Her friends from daycare, a few family friends, and cousins made it. It was a really special day.
* Getting taller and mouthier :) "Mom I told you..." Oh yes, she can be a bit lippy sometimes, but she is the bestest sister ever! She always wants to know where Jennifer is...cute.
* Swimming - Passed into the swimming class at Foss where I am not in the pool with her. She loves it. Constantly putting her face into the water.
* Tubing, jumping off the dock- oh yes, my tubing fan! Thank goodness...I love it just as much. She also loves to jump off the dock at the lake! With water wings of course!

We are having a great summer. The "Q's" are here and life is good. Kate has her buddy Jack back and has told Samuel and Thomas multiple times that she wants to marry them. Where do little girls get this stuff?

Last week we were up at Itasca State Park for a few days staying in cabins. It was a really good time. Kate loved going for hikes, playing outside, and eating smores! Jennifer did really well too. Kids were worn out each night from all the fresh air! The rest of the week and into this week we stayed at the lake. It was a good time as we hung out, played, swam, tubed, swam, tubes, etc... More camping to come later in the summer..this time tent camping :)
