We had a great weekend. Friday, after I picked Kate up, her and I went shopping at Albertville. Just a little girl afternoon out. It was fun as she is seriously always in the best mood. Saturday we hung out all day. Corey went to the Gopher BBall game with his dad and as it was so flippin cold...Kate, I and the dogs played inside all day. Kate plays so well. She plays with her toys and loves to look at books. I bought some music books that she really likes...my singing not so much - but she smiles! Today we all went to watch Mitchell play a hockey game in St. Cloud. My parents, Rob and his family, and of course the Strohs were there. It was a good time. Kate got to sport her new jacket (compliments of our albertville shopping). She does so great at hockey games. She just watches all the action ... and kids running around!
What is new with our little one - well she laughs a lot and I call her jabberjaw judy! She also goes haa (seriously). It is so cute! She says daddda, momma, but not on cue. She is in the ready position to crawl and has pulled herself forward a few times. She loves standing and can pull herself up. Tonight she had her first (of many) hot dog - well she had a bit at the hockey game to that Grandma Phyllie gave her. She is really eating well. We give her some "real" food each night so she can feed herself, but we also still feed her some of the baby foods and some other stuff. She has been drinking from her sippy for a long time and continues to do that. Her favorite game is to throw it from the high chair and watch her mom and dad go get it....stinker! This past week Kate has started playing fetch with Rua. Really...it is cute. Rua will drop the ball by Kate, she picks it up and tries to throw it (which is really her dropping it). Rua will go get it and bring it back to her. They are going to be best buds. Pica lets Kate pull on her - no worries there...Pica survived the Q' boys!
On to the Q' boys...5 sleeps until I see them in Tokyo. I so wish I was bringing Kate and Corey, but since I will be going for work and hitting 3 countries it just isn't feasible. I will miss them a ton. My mom is coming to help out and I am sure that Grandma C. will also. On the other side..I am so excited to give the boys, Steph, and James hugs! I am REALLY missing them!!! I will get to see them my first weekend there and then a couple more days later the next week. In total I will be gone 13 nights. 6 nights will be with the Q's.
My next post will probably be upon my return - lots of pics to share after that!
Love ya. Lator gators.

Thanks for being a part of the cheering section for Mitchell. He feels pretty important to have everyone there! Can't wait to watch Kate play catch with Rua and Pica! Wish you could sneak 5 people along with you to Tokyo. Maybe we can go next year...
