Yummy! This last week Kate had pumpkin pie and mashed potatoes for Thanksgiving! Kate's daycare had a little party on Tuesday last week and we had pumpkin pie. She loved it! Couldn't get enough!!!
Thanksgiving this year was at our house. My family (including Rickie - minus the Tokyo Quinnilds) came over. It was a fab time. Lots of good food and laughs. The boys ran around outside and the girls (Molly and Kate) hung inside with the ladies.
A couple new things with Kate...first her consistent cough is still around so last Wednesday we went to the doctor. She put her on a nebulizer (spelling??) - 3 times a day. Kate does pretty well with it. Not sure it is really doing the trick though as she is still coughing. That is kinda a good thing I guess cuz then that means she probably doesn't have broncolities (spelling??) (baby asthma). That would point to her having more of back to back colds - which going to daycare is a common practice! Plus 3 other kids at daycare have this cough. So we will see how it goes - another week and a half of the neb! Darn thing takes 25 - 30 minutes in the morning and at night and 10-15 during the day. Our super duper daycare has no issue giving it to her. I am so happy with our daycare choice!
The second new thing is our little girl is up to 3 meals and 4 bottles a day! Wosers! She now has cereal and fruit for breakfast, fruit or yogurt for lunch, veggie/yogurt or cereal for dinner....and she drinks from a sippy cup!!!!
Kate also had her first professional pictures done. She did good, but really question the cost - with digital cameras and online printing you can do basically the same by yourself.
And finally - a tooth! Yes it has arrived...well kinda. It has broken through, but still only at the base of her gum. So many new things - just seems crazy.
She has been sleeping pretty good at night. Up a couple times with her cough and then we give her the pacifier back and she is out. Except last night she had a hard time so Kate and I went into the other room and slept. ...don't tell, but I secretly love these nights when we get to cuddle and sleep together!.... Basically bed time is 7:30 and she wakes up about 6 - and on the weekends she snuggles with me and Corey until 7.
She is a honey - playing so super by herself with her toys and in her exersaucer. She rolls from one end of the living room to the other and stops to smile and show you how proud she is of herself. It is so dang cute. Still calling her Jabberjaw Judy and she can really get that little voice high when she has her little happy screams!
Enough for now... Lator gators.
