Amazing. Really. I can't believe that Kate is already 6 months old. She is so fun! As you can see from the pictures she is getting bigger and doing more. She was at her 6 month appt last week - got 4 shots and weighed in at 15.4 lbs and 27 inches. She is in the 40-50% tile - so right in the middle! I think Corey and I are getting her signs and schedule down. She is eating 4 bottles a day and then cereal/fruit in the morning and a veggie at night. She is a great eater - until Rua barks and distracts her! I loved watching her the first few times she ate food. It was amazing to see her little brain just working trying to figure out what to do with the stuff in her mouth!
She rolls from side to side - back to belly is really easy - belly to back she still gets one arm stuck, but just takes her a few minutes and she gets it. She loves to play in her excersaucer - the big jumpy thing you see pictures of from the last post. Her sitting up is pretty good now. She can go for some long stretches at a time.
Sleeping is kinda spuratic. At daycare sometimes it is one nap/sometimes 2. They are trying to get her to sllep at 9:30 and 1:30 - that is when she goes down on the weekends. So depending on how she slept during the day depends on our night. We usually get her down between 7-9 and then she sleeps til about 2-3, needs her pacifier (right back to sleep) and then awake about 5-6. If we snuggle then she will sleep til 7. Oh the joys!
I think Kate is liking our new house - I know I am! We play in the living room alot and when we eat we have a great view of a pond and wildlife area. There are only a few houses in our development, but in a couple years I am guessing that will change.
We were up at the lake this weekend so Kate got spoiled by grams and gramps with hugs, kisses, new books, and special hanging out time.
Unitl next post...
